In the opulent, yet decrepit grand hall of a long-abandoned palace, a group of refined, majestic cats gather around an ornate, hand-carved wooden chessboard, surrounded by delicate, lace-like vines that have claimed the marble floors as their own, crawling up the walls and entwining the broken, crystal chandeliers that hang precariously from the high, vaulted ceiling.
